The
execution decree of Ali Ahmad Soleiman, political prisoner from Iraq’s
Kurdistan was approved by country’s Supreme Court and he was informed of it.
Mr. Ali Ahmad Soleiman is charged with ‘deliberate murder’.
He was
arrested in fall 2005 in Targoor region in Orumieh City and was condemned to
five and a half years imprisonment with hard labor on charge of being a member
of a Kurdish opposition group to Islamic Republic of Iran.
Mr. Soleiman
was previously condemned to a one-year hard labor prison term for having
connection with Ahmed Shaheed and the media outside Iran.
His sentence
was over in 2011 but he was informed by MOIS that his case is still open and he
