Khozestan Province’s assistant judiciary, Judge Ali
Eftekhari, announced 6 moral offenders who had harassed 10 women in front of
their husbands were executed at Ahwaz Karoon Prison.
Pointing to the trial of these culprits at a penal court
the judge stated: “After the culprits confessed to the crime and the
investigations were complete, the case was sent to Khozestan Province’s penal
court. On the directives of the head of judiciary an especial branch studied
the case and the six members of this band were condemned to death.
The decree was approved at country’s Supreme Court and …The
culprits were hanged this dawn at Ahwaz Karoon Prison.” (Mehr news agency 14
